I never had a decent nights sleep when i was doing chemo. I was popping pain pils at twice the prescribed rate.
The up side is that it helps.
Hang in.

That is fortunate Scotty. My little cousin (she was 42) her last bout got so sick they had to give her a feeding tube. She got all dehydrated and malnurished.

I am still not eating well and the doc want's to put in a nasel gasteric tube in. I told him to go ahead and put one in, but not in me. He is now telling me that if I lose 20 more pounds he will either put in a feeding tube or stop the chemo. I am thinking about stopping the chemo.

Don't stop the chemo it will be over soon. Jessie drinks these little bottled milk shake thingies called Ensure. They have 350 calories and come in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and berry. She likes the chocolate and vanilla. She also drinks thined yogurt with fruit. I make about a gallon every other week. She really likes mango and cinnamon or blueberry.
It helps!

What goes in comes back up in about 5 minutes. I eat but it dose not stay down long enough to do any good. I can keep water and real weak decaf coffee and decaf tea down the longest. they even put me on THC caps. and that is not helping.
