Deejay's Chinese Style Cheese Cake

This is a lighter lower calorie version of a cheese cake that you might find in a good Chinese buffet. They don't use toppings but I do. The texture is slightly heavier than an Angel Food Cake but has a cheese cake flavored aftertaste. So easy it takes about 35 minutes to make.

Ingrediants
1 Box of Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake
1 Block 8 oz of Cream Cheese
1 Tablespoon Real Vanilla Extract
1-3/8 cups Water
fruit filling or sliced fresh fruit for topping

Directions
1) In a large deep bowl pour contents of Angel Cake Mix.
2) Add water and whisk or mix until smooth (about 30 seconds)
3) Add Vanilla and mix well
4) Add very soft almost liquid cream cheese and whisk well
5) Pour into 10 inch spring form pan sprayed with non stick spray and smooth
6) Bake at 350F degrees for about 30 minutes
7) Check for doneness with a toothpick and check that any cracks are completely dry.
8) Immediately after baking remove the sides, place a cooling rack on top of cake and flip.
9) remove bottom of pan and cool for at least an hour before adding topping

Options
Chinese cheese cakes have a hint of cheese if you want a stronger flavor you might try adding 1/2 brick at a time. I haven't tried it this was my first experiment making this.

Any pie filling you want can be use for a topping of even fresh sliced fruit.
